Get to Know Ashley Morelli
Ashley is an associate attorney at Blahnik, Prchal, and Stoll. Ashley focuses her practice on all areas of family law, including divorce, child custody, parenting time, child support, and post-decree matters. Ashley also represents individuals in harassment restraining orders and order for protection proceedings. Ashley provides court-appointed representation to parents in child protection matters in Scott, Le Sueur, Rice, and Anoka counties.
Ashley was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in December of 2020. She spent nearly two years clerking for the Honorable Christine A. Long in Rice County, Minnesota where she gained invaluable insight into the judicial process from a judge’s point of view. Working as a law clerk allowed Ashley to understand the interplay between various areas of the law.
Ashley was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. She attended Iowa State University and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice. Ashley received her Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2020, graduating in the top 10% of her class.
Ashley currently resides in Rice County with her husband Anthony, their son, Christopher, and their English Springer Spaniel, Maverick. She enjoys reading, spending time on the water, and is currently training to run Grandma's Marathon for her second time. Ashley is also an avid Minnesota Vikings and Iowa Hawkeyes fan.
